I suggested this 2 years ago when he was probably available. Now he's untouchable.

Answer: a new coaching staff.

Play these guys where they should be played AND THEN go fill the holes.

Though it is a fair deal, I'm not so sure Regehr would waive his no trade to go to Vancouver. If anything I see him returning to Calgary. Also I don't think Ott gets traded 5 months into his sabres career unless it's some ridiculous deal. Also what's the deal with wanting Schneider gone all of a sudden? Sure Luongo has outplayed him now but a year and a half from now Schneider would definitely be a better option than Luongo (both statistically and financially).

Agreed, even watching MG on after hours last week and he said that you don't just give an all-star goalie away....Luongo's the one of the two that's been an all-star before so that tells me that he's only looking to deal him.

Agreed. The reason they got Ott is the same reason the Canucks would want him. They would have to overpay for sure.

I think the reason that quite a few Canucks fans are looking at Schneider as the better trading option at this point is because of the return he could yield. Lu's contract length is brutal - is obviously a major issue right now (despite what Gillis says through the media). Van needs depth/grit pretty badly.
